Planning Board Meeting
December 11, 2006

Bill Meegan, Chairman, opened the meeting at 4:30 PM
1. Minutes
The minutes of November 27, 2006 were approved as amended.
2. Budget
The Planning Board members reviewed the proposed budget for fiscal year 2008.
Mr. Meegan questioned how much the Planning Board spent in legal fees in fiscal year 2007. Legal Fees had a budget amount of $9,500.00 for fiscal 2007. He will ask Tom Wilson, the Town Accountant, for an accounting on the Planning Board’s legal expenses for that year. The Planning Board voted to approve the budget as it was drafted.
3. American Planning Association Training Packages
The Planning Board received a brochure from the American Planning Association for training packages that they were offering. Mr. Meegan asked that Lisa call the organization and ask for references of towns in Massachusetts, specifically, towns on Martha’s Vineyard, who have used the APA programs, so we could call and ask if they found the programs useful.
